Hurricane Ike- update

Well,it's 10:30 am friday morning and just a quick update before I shut off the computer to keep the battery charged as long as possible. Ike is on his way and we've been busy preparing... draining the pool some so it doesn't flood, filling our bathtubs with water so we can fill the toilets and still flush, Jason fixed a piece of flashing on our roof, Brady helped "build a dam" so our kitchen doesn't flood, etc... we've had a busy morning. We'll probably lose power a little later today (they're predicting about 80 mile an hour winds) and if that's the case we probably will be without power for a couple days, so wish us luck!
