Early Christmas & Gulf Champs Swim Meet

Last Thursday Jason's parents came down to Texas for early Christmas and to see Maddie swim in the Gulf Champs swim meet. M & B had no idea that they were coming so when they got to the house it was a BIG surprise! Thursday night Jason had his company Christmas party to go to, so Jason's parents, Brady and I took Madison to swim practice then we all went out to dinner. The next day was a school day for M & B, but it was a good time to get all the gifts wrapped for the early Christmas we were planning for the next day. Friday was also Jason's father's birthday so we all went out for dinner to celebrate. We enjoyed dinner in "Italy" and it was wonderful, as always!
Saturday started out with a sugar filled breakfast of monkey bread and a relaxing morning hanging out in our jammies. After lunch it was time to open our early Christmas gifts. Maddie & Brady had so many gifts under the Christmas tree it was like real Christmas morning! Jason's mother cooked dinner for us that night and then it was off to bed early for M & B because the next morning they had to get up for 5:30am for Maddie's swim meet.

One of Brady's favorite places is Buc-ees and we got Papa, Madison & Brady Buc-ees shirts for Christmas!

Sunday morning we were up and out of the house at 6:30am for Madison's Gulf Champs swim meet. We left without taking the camera so I only have a few pictures that I took with my phone. She had a great meet and swam some of her best times! We are so very proud of her!

She had a great meet and was so excited that Grammy & Papa were there to cheer her on!


Grammy & Papa left today to go back to Massachusetts and Maddie & Brady are sad- especially Maddie. We had a great visit with them and look forward to going up to MA this summer!!
