My mom came down to Texas to visit with us last week and it worked out well that both Madison and Brady had the entire week off of school. She brought some of the cold New England weather down with her- we had a few pretty chilly days, but we were happy to have her here, even with the cold!! We didn't do as much as we normally do, usually we keep her pretty busy, but we did go to the movies, did a little christmas shopping, ate out quite a bit, she got to see Maddie swim during her practice and was able to see what she does during dry-land training. Jason's company has a suite at Reliant Stadium and he was able to get two tickets from his wonderful boss for the Texans Monday Night football game- Texans vs Titans- mom's very first NFL game ever! The Texans lost, but they say it was a close game which made it very exciting! She was also here for Thanksgiving and made a wonderful dinner for us!! We were going to take her to New Orleans while she was here, but the weather wasn't great there and I couldn't find a hotel available in the French Quarter like I wanted, so we'll save that for when she comes back this summer. Instead we went to San Antonio for Christmas SeaWorld, we had a great time- I love SeaWorld!
Once again we had a wonderful visit with my Mom and can't wait for her to come back again! Now we're looking forward to Jason's parents coming in about a week to visit and celebrate an early Christmas. Madison & Brady have no idea that they are coming, either... it's going to be a great surprise for them! They'll also be here for one of Madison's swim meets. She'll be very excited to have them there to watch her. After that we'll be getting ready for our trip to Utah... December is going to be a busy month!

We also just found out today that Madison will be performing in the ballet " La Bayadere" this Spring. Rehearsal begins in January, so we'll be adding that to our already busy schedule! I can't wait to see what part she plays and she can't wait to see her costume!
