Stars & Stripes Ballet

Yesterday Madison danced in the 2nd Campaign of Payne Academy of Ballet's production of Stars & Stripes. Everyone has been working very hard since January and last night it showed- they put on two great shows! They had a 2:30pm performance and another one at 7pm. Of course, for the safety of the dancers, you're not allowed to take pictures, but I did take the camera backstage and got a few good shots!

These were yesterday afternoon before we left the house for her 2pm performance.

This is Madison after the 2pm show... she had changed out of her costume and Daddy & Brady surprised her with some flowers (as pretty as these are we saved the good flowers for after her evening performance!)

Notice the red blotches on her face???? The makeup gave her poor, pale, sensitive skin a rash!




Then it was time to fill her belly with Chik-fil-a for lunch!
