Today is Wacky Tacky Day at Madison's school. They earned this special day by reading lots and lots of books- as the students read books, they take tests on the computer and accumulate Accelerated Reader points. They've read so many books this year that they are celebrating their third milestone of 20,000 points! Students are encouraged to dress up in wild & crazy outfits & wear funny, mismatched clothing. This is Madison all dressed for Wacky Tacky Day (thanks, Grammy for the mismatched socks)!
Also, Madison is the newest Golden Horseshoe winner at her school! She was so sad that she didn't win it last year and the first two quarters of this year she was eligible but didn't receive enough student votes. Yesterday she came home extremely excited to show me that she won the award for this quarter!
We are so very proud of her!
