Anyway, Madison started school back on August 24th and she loves 1st grade so far. She has two teachers- Mrs. Elliott is her homeroom teacher and she stays there for the first half of the day for science, math and social studies and she switches classrooms for the second half of her school day and has Mrs. Neblett for language arts. I am very happy with both of her teachers and she seems to love them!
Brady started pre-school on 9/09/09 (he will never forget that date!) and as much as he said that he wouldn't like it (he's definitely not an optimist!) he LOVES it! He was very annoyed that he was going to have girl teachers, but once he met Ms. Sandra and Ms. Lisa he was hooked! He goes to school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and always has great things to say when I pick him up. What a relief that he enjoys it there!
Madison has also started on The Woodlands Swim Team (TWST)and really seems to like it. Between taking her to swim and ballet, Madison is keeping me busy!
Brady started Pre-TWST, but HATES swimming in the "cold pool". I have to admit, the Natatorium pool is FREEZING!!! It's designed to be a Fast Pool so they keep the temperature pretty cool. Madison doesn't seem to mind it, Brady, on the other hand, does not want to swim there! He wants a warm, outside pool, so we may take him out of swim for now and start him up again in March at an outside pool where the water will be warmer!

I promised Maddie & Brady that I would add a few pictures of one of their favorite things to watch- Belle watching our lizard friend. We have lots and lots of lizards that live in our gardens, but one lizard in particular visits us every day. He sits on the brick (or sometimes right on the window) and watches us for hours. We know that it's the same lizard because part of his tail is missing! Anyway, when he visits us it drives Belle (our cat) CRAZY! Maddie & Brady love watching her try to catch him through the window!
Anyone that knows Brady knows that he LOVES Halloween. Ever since the stores started putting out their Halloween stuff he's been driving me crazy to decorate the house. He missed school yesterday because he wasn't feeling well so, to try to cheer him up, we unpacked all of our Halloween decorations. He wasn't up to decorating yesterday, but since he was feeling better today we decided to surprise Maddie & Jason when they came home by having our house be "spooky"! Here are a few pictures of Brady & his spooky stuff (oh, and he was wearing his "furry monster legs")!!!
