We found out yesterday that Madison will be in The Woodlands Ballet Theater's spring production of Sleeping Beauty. At first she was a bit nervous and wasn't sure if she wanted to do it, but this morning it was all she could talk about before school. It'll be just a small part with some of the other girls her age, but this is what she has been wanting to do for a few years now. Every year when she see's all of the costumes (they are stored at her ballet school because her teacher runs the theater) and all of the "almost grown up girls" rehearsing, she kept asking when it would be her turn. Well, it's finally her turn! She understands that it's a big commitment- 2 rehearsal days a week for 3 months on top of her weekly ballet class, but I don't think she has any idea just how much dancing she will be doing! Her performance will be on May 2nd at 1pm and 7pm... I can't wait to see her up on that stage!
