Life is back to normal... mostly

Our daily lives are back to normal, Madison is in school (and very happy about that) and ballet has reopened. Brady is back in gymnastics and there is no more wait for gas. Grocery stores have food again so we can eat and drink more than water and pasta. It's just strange to think that we can't go down to the beach this weekend and do some of the things that we would normally do... no beach, no Moody Gardens, etc. Galveston is cleaning up, but they have a very long way to go.
Here are some pictures of Madison & Brady back in their normal daily lives...

enjoying some ice cream (something we couldn't have without power) on a day trip down to Katy (about an hour and fifteen minutes away- something we wouldn't do when the gas lines were 3 hours long!)

enjoying the pool (something they couldn't do when we had no power to run the pool pump and the water was green and yucky!)

jumping in the bounce house (something else they couldn't enjoy without power)
